"Me" Box

A Getting Acquainted Activity

As a project to help the children get acquainted with one another and initiate conversations, please help your child assemble a "Me" box. A "Me" box contains artifacts pertaining to your child. Items may include:

1. Pictures: baby, family, pets

2. Something that shows favorite food: plastic pizza, picture of a hot dog, etc.

3. Something that shows favorite color: blue marble, etc.

4. Sports: small trophy, etc.

5. Hobby: paintbrush, crayon, etc. if interest is art

6. Collections: rock sample, shells, action figure, etc.

Use gift wrap to decorate a small shoe box and the lid with gift wrap (wrap snugly and secure ends with tape). Please be sure that the lid is removable. Add a picture and/or name to top of the lid for easy identification of student.

Please do not place expensive or irreplaceable items in "Me" box. All boxes are due on Tuesday after Labor Day.
